The bait kit needs a reset too

Containers and small supplies deserve a place in the routine.

Keep the method in mind

Carry only permitted bait and suitable containers for the day’s plan. Check local restrictions and manufacturer directions for storage. Avoid moving live bait or water between locations without checking local biosecurity rules; the contents of a small box can matter beyond the fishing session.

Keep spills contained

Separate supplies from equipment that should stay clean and dry. Close containers before walking and keep labels legible. An orderly kit reduces waste and makes it easier to identify what has actually been used.

Leave no leftovers on the bank

Follow local disposal guidance rather than emptying unwanted material into the water. Clean the containers appropriately and note what needs replacing. A consumable is still part of the responsibility you bring to a place.

Follow manufacturer care instructions and local biosecurity guidance. Ask a competent specialist about damaged or unfamiliar equipment.
